Go east, intrepid photogs! We had the great privilege of shooting one of our favorite couples in one of our favorite places a few weeks ago, and despite an insane drive time for an hour long shoot and the fact neither had yet experienced JT, Joce and Jenn were game to make the schlep. And it was soooo worth our efforts. Now, it's true that we battled snakes, snarky tourists, bathroom bees, an owl, wrong turns (I blame myself, really), coyotes, lantern fails, crap getting stuck in our shoes, and a variety of other wonders - as well as the first half of our shoot happening at a place dubbed the "Hall of Horrors". You would think it was more tribulation than triumph. But nope. (I need to pause here to commend whoever names the various spots in our National Parks. *slow clap*)
Honestly, I don't know that MSP has had more fun on a shoot. Holy HELL, was it fun.
We laughed (A LOT), we cried (okay, Nicole and I cried) and celebrated love. Honest to god, for real love. These two know what it means to be partnered, to be committed, and it's obvious in every step they make together. I considered getting on my little soapbox for this blog post (I was wisely talked down by the satellite staff) but instead I think I'll just say that if you don't see true love in these images than I have nothing to say that will convince you otherwise, and you are no fan of mine. But for the rest of the enlightened, please follow the links and check out a gallery of some our proudest moments.
Let us close with a brief and humble thank you to J&J - it is an absolute honor to be a part of your journey. We adore you both like french fries. Welcome to our ohana! (And as we're fond of saying: sorry, you're stuck with us now.)
